Artists Weel

 This week and the next we will be studying artists and the types of art some artists love to create.

Today we studied a special artist named Lauren Burch, and her work of art called cat crowd.

I asked our preschoolers what patterns do they see?

What similarities do they see in all of the cats in the picture?

What feelings do they get when they look at this painting?

Then I had each of the Preschoolers create their own unique cat, encouraging them to use different designs inside of the cat .

I was impressed how creative each of them were, and how creative all of our cats came out, and so uniquely !
